Statement of Faith

The fresh hope statement of faith:

WE BELIEVE
that the scriptures of the Bible, including the Old and New Testaments, were inspired by God through The Holy Spirit and are without error, and that they are the authoritative Word of God; the only infallible truth and the only standard guide for living the Christian life. We believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible.

WE BELIEVE
in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,

WE BELIEVE
in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless, perfect life; His atonement and substitutionary death through the shedding of His blood on the Cross for our sins; His bodily resurrection for our justification; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; His present ministry as High Priest and Advocate; and His personal and imminent return, "Our blessed hope;" prior to the Tribulation, and we believe that all things shall finally be subjected to Him.

WE BELIEVE
that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, as an atonement, substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him and accept Him as Lord and Savior and receive a new "born-again" spirit, are justified only through the shedding of His blood. We believe Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY - the ONLY TRUTH - the ONLY LIFE!

WE BELIEVE
that after one is truly saved good works & fruit will follow because we are now in Christ. But good works could never save us, or Christ died in vain. We believe that once someone is saved they are eternally secure in Christ.

WE BELIEVE
in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all "born-again" believers and giving life and empowering the life and ministry of the Christian. We believe each person who is truly saved is Eternally Sealed & Secured in Christ. We believe as works played no part in earning our salvation it can play no part in keeping it.

WE BELIEVE
We believe that the Church, which is the Body and Bride of Christ, is a spiritual organism made up of all born-again believers.

WE BELIEVE
We believe in the blessed hope, the personal, imminent, pretribulational, and premillennial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to rapture His saints. We believe in the subsequent, physical return of Christ to the earth with His saints to establish His promised millennial kingdom.

WE BELIEVE
in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved through the shed blood of Jesus, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.

WE BELIEVE
that every biblical promise pertaining to Israel and the Jewish people is eternally valid. We Believe all the future prophecies pertaining to Israel will be fulfilled. We believe there is a difference between national Israel and the church and that God has an ongoing plan for Israel after the rapture.

WE BELIEVE
that human life clearly begins at conception.

WE BELIEVE
that all forms of homosexuality and pornography are an abomination to the Lord - although there is hope for the sinner who repents, just as there is hope for any other sin we may commit if we repent.
